The short version
You can use the service to make AI avatars and generate images and videos for personal or commercial work. You own the output. Don't use it to impersonate real people or break the law. We can pause your account if you do.
1. Who you're agreeing with
These terms are between you and ai-creator.academy (“we”, “us”). By using the site or paying for a plan you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account.
- Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised access: hello@ai-creator.academy.
3. What you can make
You can use the service to create avatars and generate images and videos for any lawful personal or commercial purpose, including:
- Social media posts, ads, and brand content.
- Editorial illustrations and product mock-ups.
- Concept art, presentations, and pitch decks.
4. What you can't make
You agree not to use the service to generate content that:
- Impersonates a real, identifiable living person without their explicit consent.
- Sexualises minors or depicts any minor in a suggestive or sexual way.
- Promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, or illegal goods.
- Misleads viewers about a public figure's actions or statements (deceptive deepfakes).
- Infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
- Breaks any law that applies to you or to us.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we find content that violates these rules.
5. Ownership and licence
- You own what you make. All avatars, images, and videos you generate are yours under a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free commercial licence.
- No watermarks, no rev-share.We don't add watermarks and we don't take a cut of revenue you earn using the assets.
- We retain rights to the platform. The site, code, and underlying models stay our property.
- Reference uploads. When you upload a reference photo, you confirm you have the right to use it. You give us a limited licence to use it solely to lock the avatar identity.
6. Pricing and credits
- Avatar fee is one-time. Once paid, the identity-locked persona file is yours forever, exportable.
- Pay-as-you-go credit packs never expire.
- Subscription credits roll over for up to 60 days from the billing date.
- Refunds — unused subscription credits are refundable within 14 days of first purchase. Used credits and one-time avatar fees are non-refundable. Stripe handles all billing on our behalf.
7. Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription from your account page at any time. Access stays active until the end of the billing period. Avatars and assets remain in your account; you can re-import or re-subscribe later.
8. Service availability
We try to keep the service running 24/7 but can't promise zero downtime. We may take parts of the service offline for maintenance with reasonable notice. If a third-party AI provider is down, generation may fail temporarily — we'll either retry on a fallback provider or refund the credit.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is”. AI generation is probabilistic — outputs may occasionally have artefacts, inaccuracies, or unexpected content. We don't warrant the service will meet a specific use case or be uninterrupted.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If the change is material we'll email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after the change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, unless local consumer-protection laws give you the right to pursue claims in your country of residence.
